Hi there...

I can't believe summer is coming to a close!  We can here the Katydid's just about all the time at our home! I think our dogs don't like the sound very much.  It brings back memories to me of my childhood.  My grandmother had Weeping Willow trees in her front yard and we lived with her until I was about 6 years old and every day after lunch we would go out on the large front porch and there was that big swing!  She sat on the end of it and I would lay down on the swing with my head in her apron...I can still remember the smell of the fried apples or green beans or whatever she had cooked that day and she would rub my hair until I went to sleep watching those weeping willow trees and listening to the Katydid's way off in the distance and her talking to me, telling me stories about Jesus...about her life...or just about anything that came to her mind that day.  You know, that wasn't a costly thing...it wasn't taking me to the movies or buying me an expensive video game to keep me occupied or taking me to the mall and spending money on me but her time, her words, they meant the world to me. I knew she loved me because she spent time with me.  I loved her talks with me.  And the same with my Mother and my Daddy.  We really start thinking about what is important in life...it isn't what we have..or don't have...it is the moments we share with those we love.  They are the real valuable, priceless jewels we possess.  No one can take them away from us...our love for our family.  Every moment is important and our words can change another persons life, for good or for bad.

God Bless You All,
Nancy

John 13:34-35  A  new commandment I give unto you.  That ye love one another: as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

June 27, 2018

It has been a long time since I have posted on this blog or even designed a chart!  I know if any of you have looked on here from time to time you are probably surprised.  I am not going to give excuses or reasons, just that I hope I can be better at blogging this time.

If any of you have worked up any of my charts, I would love for you to email me a picture of them.  It makes me happy to see that they are being worked and enjoyed.

And as usual, I am going to give Praise to our Lord for His goodness.  I know some of you are going through really difficult things.  We too,  have gone through really difficult things, still do!  But our Lord has always, always seen us through.  He is faithful!
Our Lord did not say that we wouldn't as long as we live on this earth but what He did say is that He would be there beside us to carry us through.  I feel that some of you that are reading this are hurting.
The Lord is MY Shepherd, I shall not want!  Psalm 23...He restores MY soul....He IS with me.....!  Those are just a part of Psalm 23.  Psalm 86: 7 says in the day of my trouble, I will call to you, for you will answer me!!
His word is truth...it is alive!  We can count on His word when there is nothing else to count on!  We can put our faith in it when there is no one else to put our faith in!  He loves us even when we are unlovable.  Sometimes all we can do is call out His name...JESUS!!  JESUS!!  JESUS!!!

I trust we all have our faith in Him. He will sustain us!  He is the way and the truth!  In today's world there are so many things pulling at us to get us away from our Lord Jesus.  Take just a few minutes and read his Word..praise Him ....raise your hands to the heavens and give Jesus praise!  Pray to your heavenly Lord..He hears your every word.  He has never loved you more than He does right today!!! His love is NEVER changing!

I am going to TRY to design again...I can't promise anything at this point because I don't want to say something and then not do it.  It seems my time slips away.

Summer is here! I can't believe it!!  My favorite time of year!! I love warm weather!! The beautiful flowers, the smell of cut grass and being outside.  It seems the sky is so much prettier and the clouds where we live in the summertime.

Anyway, I pray you all have a glorious summer.  Lots of laughter and fun with family and friends.

God bless you all!

This is the most wonderful time of year!
There are so many things happening all around us!  As a Christian,  I find myself realizing that of all times my faith has to be strong.  I cannot be weak because I know there will be times that all of our faith will be tested.  I praise the Lord for what He did for us.  He came to this earth to save us...He died on the cross to save us!  We are celebrating our Lord.  God in the flesh!  The one that loves us the most.  The one that all we have to do is call out His name...Jesus and He is right there for us.  We are blessed.   I pray each of you are praying for your families, your friends to pray more...seek the Lord more...get into His Word more....Hear from Him more and put the desires of this world aside.  Pray for the lost and allow the Lord to lead you where you will go.
He is faithful even when we are not.  He loves the unlovable....He loves us when we have failed...when we have messed up....when we are unworthy...Praise the Lord!  All we have to do is go to Him and say I'm sorry!  Our sins are as far as from the east to the west...and further.  The spans of the skies.....Hallelujah!!
I am thankful that I can write this on my blog...that we have freedom in America right now!
I just want to give Him Praise on my little blog for all He has done for me.  Thank you Lord for saving me...for getting me through hard times and for all those times I didn't desire it and you were still there!  For forgiving me of all my sins!  I love you Lord!  I pray for all those that read my blog that they will be blessed by You and if they aren't saved, that there hearts will turn to you, Lord!
I pray they will have a wonderful Christmas with their families and friends.  That you will be safe...lots of laughter and remember where all your true blessings came from.
God bless you all!

Free Chart "Fruit of the Spirit"

Hi again...

We had more snow last night!  I heard on TV this morning that a man up north is selling "snow" and shipping it out to people that want snow!  I guess people will buy anything.  Since the Country is mostly covered in snow right now he is probably shipping pretty far!  Wow...what an entrepreneur!  Can't even imagine how you do that!

We are just trying to stay warm and get out of our driveway!  lol  That is a task in itself....My husband was concerned for the birds and he bought a big bag of seed for them.  We sometimes don't think of all the little critters that are all around us.

Matthew 6:26 says Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

So when my husband wanted to feed the birds, I thought about that verse.  The Lord supplying the food for them and also the Lord leading my husband to help in a time of need the birds were feed.

How much more should we do for our brothers and sisters when we see a need in their lives.

1 John 3:18 Little children, let us stop just saying we love people; let us really love them, and show it by our actions.

It is easy to say we love but love is an action word only.
This snow is a perfect time to share our "love" with someone in need.  There is a lot of people that are stranded without a ride, getting to the store, to the doctor, without food, shoveling a driveway...whatever...there are needs.  Reach out, share your love of our Savior.  You will receive a blessing too!

Here is a FREE chart for you.  "FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT"
I hope you enjoy....Use any colors or fabrics you desire!
Blessings as always,
Nancy

Hi everyone...

Happy late Valentines Day!!

We have had sooo much snow and I am sure a lot of you have too.  Cabin fever here we come!  They are calling for more this weekend...NO...NO!  Please, enough is enough. Just get rid of some of these germs all around!  I don't know if it does or not but I hope it does.

Anyway, I pray you all had a fabulous Valentine's Day with your sweetie!  I can't believe it is almost March and Easter time already.  Time flies by just like my Mom said, and the older you get the faster it goes...I sure don't understand that one!  But it is true.

All I do know is that the Lord has sure been good to me and I have to always give a testimony to His goodness!  Without Him, I don't know what or where I would be.  I once heard a minister say that miracles pass us by everyday and we don't see them.  If we only knew all the good things that have passed us by because we weren't listening to the voice of God it would amaze us but not only that...we would be astonished at the bad things the Lord has protected us from!  He is right there to help us all the time!  Praise His Name forever.

I am including a picture of one of my charts called "Love Never Fails" that Robin Brown stitched and sent me.  It looks fantastic and I wanted to share with you.  Thank you Robin for sending it to me.  I hope you all enjoy my free charts.

Have a blessed week and talk to you soon!

Merry Christmas....

Hope you have had a great thanksgiving and are getting all your shopping done.
I haven't been on here in quite a while...lots of things going on...as most of you probably can relate too.....life gets in the way sometimes.  Praise the Lord though, He is always there for us to see us through.....from the smallest to our biggest problems.
Sometimes we have to just stop...and listen to what the Lord is wanting to tell us.  We pray and then we don't take the time to listen to His voice.  He wants to communicate with us more than we ever realize.  Just to take a few minutes out of our busy day and spend with our precious Savior will make our day go so much better.  This is a busy time for all of us...family, friends, cooking, children, grandchildren...church events, office parties, all the things take away from our quiet time.  Just take a few moments.  Relax...talk to the one who created the universe and YOU.  You are so special to Him.  Lets all remember why we are celebrating this time of year.  He was born......then so He could die on the cross for our sins because He loves you and me so very much. Praise the Lord, He is alive again.... Thank you Lord for all you have done for us.  We praise your Holy Name.  We give honor and glory to You today for who you are and what you have done for all of us.  Without you we can do nothing.

We pray you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.  God Bless You all...have a safe and happy time.  Nancy

Happy New Year!

Once again Christmas has come and gone.  I pray you all had a wonderful time with your families and friends.  As we all make New Year resolutions, some are to lose weight, get more exercise, spend more time reading, more time with their parents and families, get their home organized or cleaned out and so forth and so on....mine is to get ME in finer tuned with my Lord.  We go to Church and are very involved and I love my Lord so much but I still want a deeper relationship with HIM.  I feel our world is changing and we need to know HIS Word and know HIM like never before.   I pray this for all of us.
Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to MY words: incline thine ear unto MY sayings, let them NOT depart from thine eyes: keep them in the midst of thine heart.  For they are LIFE unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Have a wonderful 2014.  Savor every moment.  God has been so good to us!
I will be posting a free cross stitch chart for you very soon.

God Bless You all!
Nancy

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

Hi everyone!
Well, it is me again!  Surprise, surprise.  Didn't hear from me in a long time and now two times in a row!!  Wow....lol!!!
I hope you are through your Christmas shopping...at least doing better than I am.  There was only three weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas so it is coming on quickly.  I always get so excited this time of year and reminisce about times past when I was a little girl.  My Daddy had one of those BIG and I mean BIG 8 ml. motion cameras that if you got very close to it, it was Synge your hair!  lol He loved taking pictures of me getting up in the morning to see my presents for the first time.  He was a Truck Driver for over 40 years and I was always so proud of him.  He worked so hard and was a Godly man.  He got up every morning around 6 and read his Bible and prayed.  Always took us to Church.  But he was also, always so tired at Christmas because he had usually come in from a long trip and then been up all night for Christmas.  Bless His heart.  Mother loved to cook but her specialty was cakes and pies and Chocolate Eclair's.  Yummy.  She loved the Lord so much and prayed for so many.  She taught me so many good values.  Thank you Mother.
I pray you will take this time to think back on some good times and then share them with your children, grandchildren or friends.  I know they will enjoy the stories of times past.
Isn't it funny...when you think back...it isn't the presents you remember but the times you had with your families and friends.  Those are the "moments"!!  Those wonderful memories that you carry in your heart.
Here is another chart for you.  I had plans last year to sell this one but never got around to it...so it is now free to you!  Enjoy!
God Bless You, as always,
Nancy

Merry Christmas!

Wow...it has been too long since I have been on my blog. I am sooo very sorry. Other things have really kept me busy for quite a while.

This has been some year, hasn't it! With our economy and everything else that has gone on, it seems everyone is just hanging on and praying! What better thing to do than pray! That is exactly what we need. It seems our Country has forgotten where our true blessings come from.  Our Lord is faithful when we put our trust in Him.  I pray we all will take time this season to look around and see how truly blessed we are and what we have to be thankful for.  Not in the "things" we own...but in life's true riches...families, love, health, being able to worship our Lord, freedom and sooo much more!

I pray you all have a wonderful, Merry Christmas and that your homes are full of His love, joy and peace.

Below you will find  a small free chart for you...It would look really nice to do on green aida but please choose whatever fabrics and colors you want...make it your own.

God Bless You all,
Nancy

Blessings Everyone!!

First, I would like to ask any of you if you stitch any of the charts I give away and would like to share a picture of them with me...please send them to my email address as I would love to post them on my blog.

WOW!!! This has been one week around here to remember!  Some of you are probably feeling the same way.  We didn't have any power for over 4 days.  Some people in our area are just now getting it back on.  Trees are down everywhere.  It is truly a disaster in some places.  I praise the Lord we didn't have more problems than just the power.  It really makes you stop and think about what we are really blessed to have and also if there were a nationwide emergency in this country, what could we and would we do.  I know our cell phones didn't work for a while here either.  The Lord says we are not to be fearful and to put our trust in Him.  In times like this our faith is truly tested.  We prayed a lot.  I had never even heard of a "derecho" storm before last week.  The description of a "derecho" storm is: widespread, long-lived, straight-line windstorm that is associated with a fast-moving band of severe thunderstorms.  There wasn't even any rain associated with the storm...just terrible wind which came in a second.  Over 80 MPH here in our area.  OK...enough about that!  We are in air conditioning now...our daughters tree is being cut up in her backyard, taking 3 days to cut that one up!! It is huge.  It blew it over out of the ground!  I said enough right...lol

I hope you are enjoying your summer.  Going on vacations, spending time with families and just enjoying this wonderful time of year.  I just love the summer.  Green grass, flowers, long days, cooler nights, cookouts, swimming and on and on!  I hope you are doing some stitching in between all your running around.  It is time to get ready for fall believe that or not.  It is just around the corner.  Boy, it is just like my Mama used to say, time flies when you get older, faster and faster!  That is the TRUTH!  It seems you get up in the morning and then you are getting ready for bed again.

I have another free chart for you.  Enjoy your stitching and just please don't sell my designs or kit them.

Have a wonderful week and until next time.

Blessings,

Nancy

Hi Friends!
So good to write to you again this afternoon!  I do hope you are having a good spring and looking forward to a wonderful Mothers Day.  Whether you are a Mother or are celebrating the day with your Mother, daughters, sisters or friends....enjoy the day!!!  I want to say, "thank you to all the Mothers out there for taking the most important job -position-career there is on the face of the planet, as far as I am concerned, seriously and I hope, joyfully and thankfully.  You are so blessed that the Lord has given you children in your care to raise. And when there are trying days, and I know there are since I have raised 3 children myself, be grateful for every moment, every second, every night you kiss them on their checks and say prayers with them!  You are a blessed woman.  A Mother is a valuable person and so very loved by our heavenly Father.  In those trying times remember that the Joy of the Lord is your Strength  (Neh. 8:10) and He will always, always be there for you.
Here is another FREE chart for you...enjoy!  Please don't kit or sell.

Hi Everyone!

What a beautiful day here in Virginia! We have been having such wonderful warm weather. It has been in the 70's. Even with the thunderstorms it has been glorious! I just love this time of year. All the trees are starting to come alive and there are sooo many with blossoms and color! I hope you are enjoying this time of year, wherever you live. The Lord has made such a beautiful place for us.

My good friend, Carole, and she is also my "Sis" from Arizona, a retired school teacher and wonderful Christian ask me to do a chart "Live by Faith, not Fear".....sooo, here it is for you. It is taken from the scripture in Mark 4:40. This is especially for you Carole...I hope you will all enjoy it.

I have a book call: The complete book of Zingers by Croft M. Pentz that has really neat sermon quotes including some for you to ponder on FAITH and FEAR....

Faith can never overdraw its account.
Part-time faith, like a part-time job, will not fully support you.
Faith is a spiritual life in action.
Faith never grows in a disobedient heart.
When you cease to use faith, you lose it.
Feed your faith and your doubt will starve to death.
You don't trust God until you trust Him for the impossible.
The way to take the fear out of living is to put faith in the Lord.
There are "365 Fear nots" in the Bible---one for each day!!!!
Faith and fear cannot live together......

Have a wonderful day and as always be blessed!

Nancy

Happy March!!!!!

It is starting to warm up and spring is just around the corner. The birds are singing and singing in the morning! What a wonderful sound. I just love spring time when everything starts all new again. It's such a breath of fresh air. The grass turns all luscious and green and the flowers start to spring up from the ground. The sky even looks brighter. Wherever you are living, I hope you are enjoying your "beginning" of spring. Easter is just around the corner. What a time to celebrate...our Risen Saviour, Jesus! What a glorious time of year to think of all HE has done for us.

Here is a free chart for you....a Quaker Cross. Enjoy. As you stitch this Cross I hope you will reflect on what HE did for us that day when He laid down His life for you and I. What a future we have to look forward too just because of His sacrifices and LOVE for us even before we knew Him.

I pray you have a wonderful week, full of joy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hi again....

2012 has begun and NEW BEGINNINGS for all of us! I want this year to be great and by that I mean in terms of looking at what is REALLY and I mean REALLY important in our life! So many people are talking about the Mayan Calendar and this year being a count down and all that...well, if it is, it is. What I know is (probably very little...lol) but the Word of God says that only God knows when He is coming back for His people and what I plan is to be mindful of living each day to the best of my ability. Do my utmost very, very best to treat every one truly like I WANT to be treated and with mercy...Everyone is on edge these days with the economy so I want to do my best to be aware of others feelings and what they might be going through themselves....it isn't all about "ME". I am going to do my best to give people the benefit of the doubt, so to speak if they are "harsh". Turn the other cheek as the Bible says. Watch what the Lord will do for you when we start doing just small things for others. I really believe when we give, it is given back to us. Not that you do it for that reason...EVER. I know how excited I get when I see someone open up a present give them. The same applies when we share our smile with someone or a kind word. I want to to be more considerate of others this year and see if it doesn't spread. After all just one kind word to a person just could change their life! You never know.

I hope this will be the very best year for you and your family and that the Lord will enrich your life with all that is good! I pray that you have good health, joy and peace throughout this year and we can all be in touch often.

Here is a another little sampler for you....it is called "LOVE NEVER FAILS". Do it up into a small pillow or pinskeep! Whatever you want. Hope you enjoy!

Til next time-Have a wonderful day! God Bless You always.....

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Just wanted to say I hope this is the very best Christmas you, your family and friends have ever had! We all have so much to be thankful for and celebrate this wonderful time of year. The birth of our Lord and all He has done for us is the MOST important gift of all. With 2012 just around the corner I hope you will take time to reflect on all that you have and how blessed you truly are. We all stay so busy and sometimes forget the even smallest of miracles that pass us by each day but they are there when we take the time to look.
I am thankful for you that you come to my blog! Thank you sooo much!! I feel blessed that you are here.....so have a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to hearing from you next year and hopefully talking with you a lot more!!
God Bless You always....

Merry, Merry Christmas everyone!!

I think I fell off the earth for a while. Have been having a time getting my charts the way I want to sell them and still don't have them fixed so will just work on them after Christmas. They are designed, it is just in the set up! What a time, what a time!

I do hope you are all ready for Christmas. I am soo excited. This is my favorite time of year. I just love all the music and decorations and of course.....the food!! Our grandchildren are all excited about "Santa" coming next week. We went to a Christmas program for our Granddaughter last night. She is in kindergarten. She is 5. I was so proud! She is going to the school our son went to when he was in elementary school and it took me right back. It just seemed like yesterday that I was bringing him there. Time just goes sooo fast. Of course, the school had hardly changed, except the teachers! lol And probably if I looked real close some of them would still be there. Don't you just wish you could go back in time sometimes. It would be nice.

I remember so much about Christmas when I was a child. I loved going with my Dad to pick out our cedar Christmas trees. It was always so cold outside and we would bundle up with our winter coats on and he would take me to the tree lot and let me pick out that special tree. They always smelled sooo good. The people selling the trees would always have a fire burning that you could warm yourself up by as you were looking for that special tree. Then when we would get home he would cut off the bottom and put it in the stand. I still have a lot of those decorations that we would put around the bottom of the tree that I set out each year as a reminder of times past. My Mother loved to bake pies and cakes and my grandmother always spent Christmas eve with us. I was the kind of child that could never sleep on Christmas eve because I was waiting for SANTA to come. So I would toss and turn ALL night long while my grandmother slept with me in my room ---how she slept I don't know! I couldn't wait for Christmas morning and I knew that Santa had come because the stocking would be hung on my bedroom door with a bell and filled with goodies. Mother would come in singing "Here comes Santa Clause, Here comes Santa Clause!" I carried that tradition on down to my three children and they are doing the same with their children too. It is something how traditions in families are. I know each of you have special traditions in your families. Things that you remember that are really so unforgettable and that you have carried on too. Christmas really is about families and children. Even if you don't have children and your family has passed....friends can be family. In fact, sometimes, friends can be closer than some families. Whatever the situation in your life....just rejoice this year that you are celebrating HIS birth, our Lord and Saviour, which is really what it is all about and that we have a chance to share HIS good news with someone, whether it be someone you know or a stranger. Let's all take this coming year and strive to become more like Him. I hope you have the best Christmas ever. I hope to do better in communicating with you all. Please forgive me.

Here is a free chart for you this Christmas season. I hope you like it.

God Bless You!

Hi!

It has been a while and I apologize! This summer has gone by sooo fast and I have been keeping grandchildren...which has been wonderful! My 5 year old granddaughter started kindergarten today! She was sooo excited, acting like such a big girl. Of course, my daughter is thinking she is already going off to college. I remember that feeling. Doesn't seem that long ago. Boy has time flown by. I still have empty nest syndrome so bad sometimes. I think sometimes I would like all my kids to still live with us. Not so I can tell them what to do or live their lives for them or anything, I just LOVE being with them. I miss them. They live in this town and I get to see them, it is just not the same as sitting down each day for meals and having them here. I guess, the thing is, as with life, all things change. I am so glad I have my grandchildren now to spoil....

Every moment is so important and it seems we are so busy trying to live that we can't enjoy just the moments. I have ask the Lord to help me to do better about that. The "moments" are each important. They are never again!

It has been so hot here that the leaves are already starting to fall from the trees. Have you started thinking about anything for Fall or for Christmas yet? Now is the time to get started on those projects for all your friends and family members. There are lots of charts coming out now for that time a year....check them out at my Ebay store if you get a chance....

Have you all had a good summer? Have you had a chance to go on vacation and laugh and enjoy your families and friends?

I am putting a little primitive chart on here for you. I hope you will enjoy stitching it up. It won't take you long at all to do. It will fit nicely in a 5" x 7" frame. You can share with your friends just don't kit or sell please. I will be adding another one soon. I am still planning to start selling my charts too, I have some in the works...just working on the process.

I love hearing from you so if you want to email me anytime....please do!

Blessings as always,

Nancy
