Yeah!!!! My new blog is up and running! It looks great....Thank you Amy! You did a great job!!!! Now I need to get to work.... Soon there will be lots for SALE on here, samplers and such, including my own designs so please check back often. I will also have more FREE charts too!! Hi girls....

I am getting ready to change my blog to a selling blog so this will probably look different shortly. Hope it won't be to difficult a change for me and everyone! I am such a creature of habit! lol I have been wanting to do this for a while and wanting to start selling from my blog too, as well as Ebay, so just wanted to give you a heads up.....

Hi!

It has been a while and I apologize! This summer has gone by sooo fast and I have been keeping grandchildren...which has been wonderful! My 5 year old granddaughter started kindergarten today! She was sooo excited, acting like such a big girl. Of course, my daughter is thinking she is already going off to college. I remember that feeling. Doesn't seem that long ago. Boy has time flown by. I still have empty nest syndrome so bad sometimes. I think sometimes I would like all my kids to still live with us. Not so I can tell them what to do or live their lives for them or anything, I just LOVE being with them. I miss them. They live in this town and I get to see them, it is just not the same as sitting down each day for meals and having them here. I guess, the thing is, as with life, all things change. I am so glad I have my grandchildren now to spoil....

Every moment is so important and it seems we are so busy trying to live that we can't enjoy just the moments. I have ask the Lord to help me to do better about that. The "moments" are each important. They are never again!

It has been so hot here that the leaves are already starting to fall from the trees. Have you started thinking about anything for Fall or for Christmas yet? Now is the time to get started on those projects for all your friends and family members. There are lots of charts coming out now for that time a year....check them out at my Ebay store if you get a chance....

Have you all had a good summer? Have you had a chance to go on vacation and laugh and enjoy your families and friends?

I am putting a little primitive chart on here for you. I hope you will enjoy stitching it up. It won't take you long at all to do. It will fit nicely in a 5" x 7" frame. You can share with your friends just don't kit or sell please. I will be adding another one soon. I am still planning to start selling my charts too, I have some in the works...just working on the process.

Hi Friends,

Is everyone getting ready for a big Memorial Day weekend?? How has the weather been in your area! I have sure been praying for everyone in our Country and everywhere that has had disaster to hit with all the tornadoes and flooding and all the other disasters around the globe. Please keep them all in your prayers. There is so much that is needed right now in those areas.

We love our animals and two weeks ago we had our Sheltie, Teddy Bear, to pass away. He was 17 years "young". There is a picture of him on the left side of my blog. I have been devastated and cried my eyes out for two weeks now. He was such a part of our family. He had gotten so old and we knew it was going to happen but he was so sweet - just old....like we are all getting.....anyway, I miss him and so does my husband. He has tried to be strong for me but he gets those big tears in his eyes everytime we talk about him. If any of you have lost a pet that you love, then you know what we are talking about.

I made up a little cross stitch design for you, called...."Be Happy". I think the reason for this is because I feel we need to find happiness wherever we are. Even if it for the moment....Be Happy, smile at someone. You might just make their day and yours. We can CHOOSE to Be Happy or we can CHOOSE to be unhappy. The choice is ours. The Lord didn't promise us everything would be great in this life but He did promise us He would be there with us no matter what we have to go through. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back from captivity. ” Jeremiah 29: 11-13 THANK YOU LORD!!! This day I choose to be happy, not because of circumstances but because of YOU!!!!

Happy Easter everyone!

Hope your Easter has been a glorious one! Praise the Lord for our risen Saviour! I thank Him for all He has done for me and you. It has been such a beautiful day here in Virginia...actually in the 80's which is unusual for this time of year. I am very grateful for the warm weather today! I love it.

We just got back last Saturday from our daughter's wedding. She was married on the Crown Princess Ship in the Western Caribbean! It was such a lovely wedding. The Captain of the Ship married them. We had a wonderful time too because it was our first cruise!

I am sorry I haven't written on my blog for a while. I have been so busy with everything. I am hoping to add a new "free" chart real soon so check back with me.

I hope you are enjoying your Spring. The flowers are all starting to bud and life is coming back to everything around here. It is marvelous! I absolutely love this time of year. I think it is my favorite.

Don't forget to check out the store sometime. I have lots of cross stitch on sale! You might see something you just can't live without. I love samplers and primitives so I have lots of them available. Punchneedle too!

Hi everyone,

Just a note to say how saddened I am by the recent news of Lisa Roswell's passing away on 2/28/11 in Ohio. The designer and owner of "The Primitive Needle" Cross Stitch...such a wonderful inspiration to us all! Please pray for her husband, children, family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all.

Hello Friends!!

Are you having a good 2011 so far? Staying warm? We heard there were 49 states with snow last week! That is really something! They are calling for snow here tonight......AGAIN! Guess my husband and I will just pop popcorn and watch a movie.

I have a lot of new charts coming to the store this week so make sure and check it out this weekend....they should be listed sometime by Saturday or Sunday. Wonderful samplers and primitives! You will love them.....

Needlework Market is in February and there will be lots of goodies coming and with Spring right around the corner...well, who knows what will be coming our way!

I have added PICTURE TRAIL on the lefthand side of the blog with most of my free charts for you to print off. I do hope this will be make it easier for you. I have had several of you to email me that you couldn't print them down in the correct size the way the were, so I hope this helps.

I have also added a new chart called "Love Thy Neighbor" Sampler. It is for Valentines Days but really an "anytime" sampler. Here is a picture of it but it can be printed down in the Picture Trail. Enjoy....
