Hope you all had a safe and Happy New Years Eve......and are having a great DAY!!!! I can't believe it is 2009! How time flies. Did you make any New Year Resolutions that you AREN'T going to keep? That seems to be the only kind I make.
Here is a poem I read this morning in our local paper. The author is unknown but it is a good way to start off the year! Enjoy.....
Share your gifts and talents ---listen with your heart.
Do the things you dream about but don't have time to start.
Pick a bouquet of flowers --show someone that you care.
Be gracious and forgiving, life is never fair.
Hold on to your courage, you may need it down the road.
We all have a cross to bear.....it could be a heavy load.
If you practice all these things, no matter where you roam.
You may find both sun and rain, but you'll never feel alone.
Maybe we could all do a little of the above this year and just spread some joy in each others lives! After all, isn't life too short not to. Time seems to get faster and faster (although it really doesn't)...just seems that way as you go through life.
