Hi,
I was asked how I stained/tea dyed the Pyn keep that I have as my Quaker Freebie. Actually this is Aida Fabric that is already tea-dyed. I purchased it that way and then I used "Distress It" by Hooked on Rugs that you spray on fabric to make it look more distressed/stained. This is a wonderful solution because you can dab your fabric if you get to much on it. I sell it..so if you have questions, just email me.
Nancy
WATCH FOR OUR EBAY STORE SALE SOON!

It is a nice size and I love doing the needlepunch, I just have to get BUSY!!!! I do this all the time, I start something and then, lay it down and start something else. I bet none of you have EVER done that before! Yea, right!!! I know how it is.....You have a hundred projects going too and your husband wants to know when you are going to finish them too.....Oh well.....I guess if I get them done, I get them done. If not, someone else can finish them or NOT.... I really, really do want to finish this one though. I love it so much.....I'll post a picture soon.....

Hi everyone!
I can just feel spring, can't you!.......we have had some wonderful warm days here. It just puts you in the mood for putting out those flowers and Easter time and getting outside even though it is really still cold. I hope you are having a great day! My daughter came through her surgery great and we all survived! My mommy instincts kicked in the first couple of nights even though she is grown and I didn't sleep at all!! I was up every time she moved! It was really something....it was like she was a baby all over again!!!! lol Boy, I guess that never changes....I didn't think it did because of how I feel about my kids but when they are sick you really know it! Even when they are grown....
The Nashville Needlework Market was a great success. I wasn't able to go because of my daughters surgery but I have ordered almost all the New charts from the show!!! You can check them out as they come in at the front page of our Ebay Store where it lists the new charts and if you don't see something that you want, email me! I will see if I can get it for you..... I am listing some of them here too. You can click on them here and it will take you to the store also. I will also be listing more Free charts.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Til next time!
God Bless You,
Nancy

Hi,
I've have a lot going on this week! We are having another sale at Liberty Primitives & Needlework on Ebay. Hope you will stop over.
I am sooo ready for Spring! We had a nice day this weekend with 60 degree weather....just enough to tempt you! Now it is cold again.....I will be putting another FREE pattern on soon so keep looking out for that.
My daughter is going to be having minor surgery next week so she is coming to stay with us a few days ....I have been thinking, just thinking about getting everything ready at this point for her to come. She and my granddaughter are coming! Yea!!! (she is 6) I am not glad she is having surgery my any means but glad they are coming to stay with me. You know what I mean! I think I still have empty nest syndrome. I don't think you ever get rid of it as a mother. What do you think? There always seems to be something missing once all your kids are moved out of the house. Maybe it is noise???? Who knows, maybe it is just me!
Oh well, til next time...have a great week!

Hi,
Hope you all are having a good day....It is sooo cold here in Virginia. Supposed to get down to around 5 degrees tonight! We made a big pot of Vegetable soup last night and it was so good. Had some wonderful deli bread to go with it! yum.......We are staying in tonight ....except I HOPE my hubby will take me out to eat tonight!!! I just put a little Quaker Pinskeep on the Blog for you that I designed. It works up really fast. I just did it on Aida cloth and then distressed it. The floss I used was 938 DMC. So simple but primitive. Anyway, hope you enjoy! Maybe you can stitch it up this weekend if you are in a cold place. Have a blessed weekend!

Hi Girls,
What are you going to do this year! I have all kinds of plans...but probably won't keep any of them! I won't to do a lot of the needlework that I have started and NOT finished. I am sure you have some of those. I won't live long enough. Another thing I plan to do this year is to really make more friends!! You know how we seem to have a lot of "acquaintances". Wellllll, as the old saying goes, that when you die, if you have a couple of goooood friends you can count yourself lucky, then, we should all be really fortunate! I think, personally, we are all too, busy! I think that is why bloggers, and facebooks and all the other thinks and gotten started. They are like "pen pals". There are a bunch of girls sitting around on computers typing instead of getting together like they used to do and having "fun". Laughing and just cutting up! You know, just plain old girl stuff!! Being silly! Guys don't know how to do it! They have their Guy Stuff... don't they! We can't get together and cross stitch but we should be able to! When I had my Needlework Shop girls would come there all the time and just bring there needlework in and I had a table and chairs and they could set and cross stitch and we would have the best time!! Just laughing and talking ...just about anything....we don't do that much anymore! Women miss out on it....We need to get back to it! What do you think???? I miss having really close friends, what about you????

Happy New Year Everyone!!
Hope you all had a safe and Happy New Years Eve......and are having a great DAY!!!! I can't believe it is 2009! How time flies. Did you make any New Year Resolutions that you AREN'T going to keep? That seems to be the only kind I make.
Here is a poem I read this morning in our local paper. The author is unknown but it is a good way to start off the year! Enjoy.....

Share your gifts and talents ---listen with your heart.
Do the things you dream about but don't have time to start.
Pick a bouquet of flowers --show someone that you care.
Be gracious and forgiving, life is never fair.
Hold on to your courage, you may need it down the road.
We all have a cross to bear.....it could be a heavy load.
If you practice all these things, no matter where you roam.
You may find both sun and rain, but you'll never feel alone.
Maybe we could all do a little of the above this year and just spread some joy in each others lives! After all, isn't life too short not to. Time seems to get faster and faster (although it really doesn't)...just seems that way as you go through life.
Have a great day!
Nancy
